Online training is always challenging. For the 15 participants in the DID ELT, lack of access to Zoom or other online video meeting technologies presented a significant barrier to participation. Thankfully, the teachers at Vientiane College were able to find creative solutions to ensure inclusion – using WhatsApp and dividing students into small groups to work around call limits. Now the course is well underway!

Delivered by Vientiane College, the new DID ELT course started on 31 May and will run for five weeks.

The course includes advanced English competency in communication, pronunciation, and public speaking.

The DID Program aims to support English language and professional development, including building confidence, for people living with disability and those who work in the disability sector.
